This is an educational guide to access management. MemberPort currently announces Shopify product drops in Discord. It does not verify purchases, connect customer accounts, or grant and remove membership roles.

Describe the benefit, duration, included spaces, and support expectations in the offer. A one-time course discussion space and an ongoing subscription community have different lifecycle requirements.
Keep the checkout language consistent with the actual access experience. Explain when the buyer receives their instructions, which Discord account they should use, and where they can get help if the handoff fails.
Connect the buyer to the member.
A shared server invite is useful for joining a community, but it is not proof of a purchase. Paid access needs an integration that verifies the customer’s entitlement and connects it to the intended Discord account.
Evaluate that identity flow before adding an automatic role action. A paid order notification in a channel does not grant the buyer a role or establish who the buyer is on Discord.
Document changes after checkout.
Decide how refunds, subscription changes, and multiple qualifying purchases affect the benefit. A partial refund of an unrelated product should not automatically be treated as cancellation of every customer entitlement.
Choose an access product whose current features match the policy, then test grants, failed grants, removal, and support recovery. The MemberPort product described elsewhere on this site does not provide those membership functions.
